Anonymous: but how did you actually lose the weight? i don't know if it's on your weighloss page, but all i see are before and after pictures. could you please share?

people are always asking for before and afters and diet advise so i’d thought id make it easier and write about it here

how long it took me: i started august 2011 and was 119 pounds in june

starting weight: 150 pounds (10.7 stone)

current weight: 124 pounds (basically 9 stone)

i never had a goal weight but i was happiest at 119 pounds so not really much of a difference

what i ate: every morning i would have a selection of fruit (i never had time to sit down and eat really so thats the main reason), for lunch i would have a chicken wrap or salad which i made (well my mum made) prior and for dinner i’d have a low calorie and fat ready meal or an edd white omlette with meat and veggies or a small portion of whatever my mother made. i used that low calorie spray oil to cook everything and avoided red meats and most dairy.

working out: i dont work out anymore because gym memberships are expensive (and id rather spend that money on clothes) but when i did i went 2-4 times a week and spent a 2-3 hours there. i went on the cross-trainer until i burned at least 200 calories and then switched between the running machine and cross-trainer. i also used the abductor and adductor machines and went to zumba.

when did you notice results: i started noticing around march and have been losing weight on my thighs, arms and face ever since. the biggest change has been my face and it look a long time :-)

i used this app called myfitnesspal and its amazing if you’re new to dieting because it will help you understand all the nutritional stuff! i eat 1000-1200 calories a day normally

Update: it’s October 2013 and I no longer count calories and just eat whatever is the healthy option but this whole process helped me get to a lower weight where I could then find a stable weight. this is not an easy and ok lifestyle to constantly have you have to enjoy things!!!
